WCIF - Juli - Castle

Postby JuliMonde » Mon Jun 30, 2008 12:01 pm

Sorry - it should sound bizarre when I put on a wcif for my own castle, but this message I had in my pm-inboxfolder after I returned from my absence. So I answered (or tried to answer) also private but it is difficult, there is simply not enough space to see the pics and the person who asked hasn't fetched her answer until today so also my pm folder is really full with this huge pm, that's why I decided to put it into this section here in case Waxtulip once returns for the answer.

Sorry Waxtulip that I answered this late, I was a long time not online and also didn't pick up any private messages from the board. The underlined phrases are my answers, but I will try and answer the rest also.

Every little detail of your Medieval Castle is so PERFECT. The construction of the house is very creative and well designed and the decor is so impeccably chosen!

I'm madly in love with your Medieval Castle and I was hoping that it was available for download somewhere (furnished or unfurnished with a shopping list).

I would love more than anything to have my sims live in that house! <3 (I, myself, would LOVE to live in that house-- my insipid environment has led to a Sims 2 addiction lol)

Well the floorplan is a bit chaotic and a lot to climb for simmies, that is why I wanted to test it first - I have no idea if Sims would like it :D

If it's not available for download, could you maybe help me find a few things? If you can't remeber or don't have the time I can always post in a WCIF thread :D

You always can do that - here are so many helpful people!!

Image
*Windows
*Stone wall coverings
*Doors (and the 2 panels on the opposite sides of the door)

I plan some similiar windows as those I used are not officially to share. They are recolors of the gothic game window made by Yggdrasil (find her stuff at spiffysims), I work at an arabian window where I began to make windows like this also. outdoor wall is from Maeusel - Sims2fan, doors I have to look the arches are from the game, in a recolor afaIk of Orangemittens - you'll find them at Avalon under old Avalon

Image
*Windows
*Door Arches
*Walls
*Floor coverings

Arches as I said above, windows dto, walls are from Nikki at Junipersun (monsoon series) floor I don't know, I think maybe Parsimonious

Image
*Medieval Banner
*Torches on wall
*Chair at head of the table
*Dining table and chairs
*Candelabra

Banners come from Lethe_S at MTS2 (or Tiggerypum, she made some recols), the furniture - most of it - is all from Taroo at Tarox, there are many things like hidden in those little pics, torches I think also but I have to look

Image
*Fireplace
*Windows (i can't tell if they are the same as the other ones lol)
*Table next to fireplace (w/ cage on it)

Fireplace I have to look, all windows are the same :), birdcage is from Steffors office at Avalon, Meshpage 47

Image
*Tapestry
*Chest
*Candle Chandelier
*Staircase

Staircase is actually from Olemantikers mediterranean set, it was the closest I could find to what I wanted  the rest might also be Taroo

Image
*Bed & Bedding
*Books w/Raven
*Trunk

Bed Taroo, Bedding I have to look, books I think Taroo, Raven from the game I don't know which extension (under deco) trunk I have to look

Image
*Cabinet on right
*Chair on left of cabinet
*Candle Stand
*Hanging flowers above rose
*Hanging basket w/herbs

I have to look but for the furniture I think all from Taroo

Image
*Mirror
*Bed & Bedding
*Nightstand
*Curtains

Mirror from Game, curtains Taroo, bed from the egyptian theme Taroo, nightstand Orangemittens at Avalon, Meshpage 10 ;)

Image
*Bathtub (is it the one from tarox?)
*Deco above tub
*Rug
*Floors
*Basket
*Barrels
*Sack like pillows

Tub is Taroo, deko is from TKAngie from the andaluzian bath, rug is from Steffor, I think it must be in the Musecafe in an older giftiethread of her - I will look, basket and also the barrels I think from Gnurpsel find it at Meshkiste, the sack could be from the countrytheme of Taroo,

Image
*Hanging Vine
*Table

Table Taroo :))) - it is also a gametable from the egyptian theme - the hanging vine is a picture well I have no idea where I found this - I have to look

Image
*Bench

I think this bench is from OM

I know this is a LOT and a huge inconvenience so if you can't help don't worry about it :) Just thought I'd ask before posting a new WCIF thread.

Thank you,
May (waxtulip) :)

No it isn't all, I am truely happy you like the house, it was the first time I ever made something like this - except I made a dwarfhouse lately

PS this is the adress of Maeusel Oldbox and Peacemaker (the wall-and floorsets are called Altes Holz (old wood) Alter Stein (old stone) it is not sims2fan it is simsfan2 - they both exist - difficult!!! but this is the right adress

http://www.simsfan2.de/

bye for today from Juli

I've not forgotten and also not the caribean one Nat. I've tried to follow Bonnie's hints for cleaning a house up but ähm... well I am not organised like her I fear, and for the very moment there are some strange things occuring when I try packing and unpacking houses. I have got some free days, I will sit down and try again. Sorry Nat!! I just can't promise if and when.

I agree that the construction of the house is very creative and perfect. I want to live in that house :)

Thanks Alexis - I always tried to change the house so it could be shared, but never did. So many sims-projects, so little time.

The lot was in fact only made for design reasons and would have been not really a good sims lot to play with. This because I rarely really played with Sims in Sims2. As soon as there is enough material I will retry it for Sims3 with some better floorplan. At the moment I seem not to find the time to play both simsgames, though I miss my beloved cc so terrible.
